My name is Bethanie and I am overjoyed that you decided to stop by my website and look around! I hope that in all your exploring you’ve seen smiles so contagious they’ve brought one to your face, and you’ve caught maybe a small glimpse of how I love to photograph people as they are, beautifully candid in every way.
If you don’t already know me, you would quickly find that I love to get together and enjoy life; it’s a journey to making memories – cherish them!
I love being able to enjoy the moments in each and every day. Often, you’ll find me in a pair of yoga pants with a cup of coffee in my hand, waiting for fall to come so I can bring out my favorite sweaters.
You would also learn that I am obsessed with photography. If you were to ask me the question, “What is your favorite thing to photograph?” then without hesitation I would say “People.” I love working with people; I love getting to know them and their different personalities, and capturing each one uniquely through my lens.

It’s such a privilege to get to celebrate special moments with so many people, and to know they’ll have pictures to cherish for years to come.
I have been doing photography for over six years and I am beyond thrilled to finally strike out on this adventure of doing it full-time. I’m based in Northern Virginia, because I live just outside of Washington D.C. However, I love to travel around, so don’t be afraid to ask me if I might travel to where you are!
