Oh, Mabry, your Georgetown senior session was so much fun! Complete with gorgeous tress, lovely conversations, cupcakes, and country music. What a blast! To boot, we had beautiful weather for her session too! Totally missing it with the crazy 100 degree weather that Virginia has had throughout July, but I’m also enjoying the reprieve of the last few days.
Since Mabry and I live near each other, and our families have been friends for over a decade, we carpooled together to tackle Georgetown for her senior photos. The residential neighborhoods and local parks there are drop dead gorgeous!! We were so distracted half the time just looking at the beautiful architecture! All of the bright colors, ivy walls, and quaint textures were such a treat to be in!
When speaking with Mabry about her thoughts for her session, she said she wanted a summery downtown look for her photos, but she specifically asked not to go to Old Town Alexandria (a common fave amongst photographers and northern Virginia natives alike – super cute old town!) because so many of her friends were doing that! While Old Town Alexandria IS a fave of mine, I’m always down to explore! And good gracious – how have I not been to Georgetown before?!? Seriously, I’m booking to go again – just need some people who want photos. 🙂
We finished the session with treating ourselves to Georgetown Cupcakes, and rolled back to Manassas with windows down, jamming to country music all the way home (found out she likes it too!). All in all, a wonderful Georgetown senior session with an amazing senior! So excited to see where God takes you, Mabry!!
